 Dipika Pallikal is an Indian professional squash player. She was born on September 21, 1991, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Pallikal gained prominence in the world of squash and became the first Indian woman to break into the top 10 in the PSA Women's World Rankings.

Pallikal comes from a family with a sporting background. Her father, Sanjiv Pallikal, was a professional squash player, and her mother, Susan Itticheria, played international cricket for the Indian women's team. Dipika showed early talent and passion for sports, and she started playing squash at the age of ten.

She quickly rose through the ranks in junior squash, winning several national championships and representing India at various international tournaments. In 2006, at the age of 15, she won the German Junior Open, which marked her first major international title.

In 2011, Pallikal achieved a breakthrough in her career when she won three WISPA (Women's International Squash Players Association) titles within a span of two months. Her performances helped her climb the world rankings, and she reached a career-high ranking of World No. 10 in December 2012.

Pallikal's most notable achievement came in the 2014 Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, Scotland. She partnered with Joshna Chinappa to win India's first-ever Commonwealth Games gold medal in squash, competing in the women's doubles event.
